If I had a penny for every time I read an adult gothic historical dark fantasy novel with clear racism and class allegories, featuring an underprivileged lesbian of colour shipped to a foggy and mysterious coastal manor and tricked into being indentured as a handmaiden to a vampire/vampiric evil white woman, with blood drinking scenes culminating in toxic yuri sex, I would have two pennies. which is not much, but it's weird that it happened twice.

good god she just called me while getting ready for work, half-dressed, and all i could focus on were the marks i left on her, and how they got there… how she desperately pulls me onto her lap, how sweet she sounds when i dig my nails into her skin, how beautiful and doe eyed she looks when i pull her hair back, exposing her neck…

this time when i go to kiss her, i press harder, teeth grazing against flesh. i’m lost in her only for a moment before she pushes me back, looking up hungrily as she slips a finger in my mouth. she curls my lip back, passing her thumb over my teeth, pausing at my fangs. softly chewing her lip, she pricks her thumb into the tip of my canine, moaning as a small pool of blood forms on her fingertip.

before i can even think to react, she presses her thumb to my tongue, forcing me to have a taste. hot, metallic sweetness hits my mouth and i moan, grinding my hips into hers. she pulls her thumb from between my lips, smearing whatever blood is left on my lips and cheek. the look i gave her must’ve been a dead giveaway, for when i lean in next she coos “mmn, pathetic little thing, if you want more you’ll have to earn it.”
